Stainless containers are well suited for clean room or new product development environments where preserving product purity and minimizing product contamination are extremely important. Drums and barrels are made of heavy gauge Type 304 Stainless Steel with a 2-B (Food Grade) semi shiny matte grey finish providing a clean, sanitary hygienic appearance. Drums and barrels come in 30 and 55 gallon sizes (see dimensions on product page), and are available in Tighthead or Openhead configurations. Two Application Examples: | Drum for mixing and dispensing a product | Drum for collecting & dispensing rainwater | For Openhead containers, stainless steel covers come with a tubular white neoprene sealing gasket. Lever-lock or 12 gauge bolt type ring closures are included in zync plated carbon steel, stainless if required. Closures are available in 2” and ¾” National Pipe Thread, which can be positioned on the side, top or both to best fit your requirements. |

Specialty drum with top and side 2" fittings for sludge treatment process | Standard configurations make these products compatible with most tumbling and racking systems, as well as drum handling equipment. The configuration is also adaptable to most external and internal heating elements, mixing units and agitators.
